First American Realty is the culmination of owner Roger Katchuk’s work experience in 33 different countries. A Broome County native, sport was his stepping-stone into the world of construction and real estate.  The 2 time All American Diver and Assistant Professor began his career coaching at the University level then international teams in swimming & diving.  He eventually moved into construction consultant work for sport facilities.  His first projects included the National Aquatic complex for the country of Brunei and development projects for the Royal Brunei Yacht Club where he was elected to 2 terms as Commodore.   For 14 years Roger’s career overseas led him more and more into the world of real estate and construction.  Based in Saudi Arabia, he traveled widely with a Saudi Sheik and through tremendous opportunity gained great exposure.  A few of the highlights include: -Negotiating the purchase of luxury condos on the French Riviera in the Relais De La Reine building. Cannes, France. -Consulting on the design and construction of the spa and health club in the Golden Tulip 5 Star resort hotel. Tunis, Tunisia. -Design consultant for Desert Sea Divers Resort and Dive Village.  Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. -Design consultant for the FAL Resort & Beach, Jeddah Saudi Arabia. -Project Manager for major condo remodeling project. Dag- Hammarskjold Plaza, New York, New York. -Design consultant for Champneys Health Clubs, London, England -Construction consultant for premium condo construction.  Dalian, China.    During Roger’s travels he entered the arena of real estate investing and has purchased and developed profitably more than a dozen of his own properties.  Returning to the Southern Tier to raise his family, he entered the log home industry and in leading clients through design, materials purchase and project management, became a multi-million dollar producer.   Roger has been an active member of the Greater Binghamton Board of Realtors since 2005.  Representing Sellers and Buyers, he has quickly become a multi-million dollar producer again.
